Graduated with a French major in 2021

For the time I spent attending Sonoma State University in pursuit of a degree in French, I cannot express to the fullest extent my gratitude to all those whom I have met along the way. This program opened my eyes to the wonders of the Francophone world, and even more so to the wonderful speakers of the language. Whether studying in Rohnert Park or in Paris, I can say with full confidence that the professors and students were the biggest factor in helping me grow as both a French learner and as an individual. All of the abounding love and support has prepared me to the fullest extent for my next chapter in life. I now attend Pepperdine University as a Master’s student going into the field of education/teaching, and I have the privilege of student teaching in an elementary school‘s French immersion program in Pasadena, California.
