French Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant, 2022-2023
Hello!
My name is Annabelle Alibert, I graduated in English studies from the Sorbonne in 2020 (with a focus on comparative – French and English – literature). Even if I am French and studied in Paris, I grew up in Belgium and I consider myself at the crossroads of two francophone cultures. Therefore, I want to promote all aspects of the French-speaking world! When I studied abroad at King's College London, I volunteered as a French tutor at the Modern Language Center of King's College London and from then on, I knew that I wanted to teach French to English-speaking students and adults.
In my free time, I love to read, write, run, dance, and travel. In my non-free time, you can find me at my office (14A in Carson Hall, Monday and Wednesday 2-3 pm) or send me an email (aliberta@sonoma.edu) to set up a meeting (online or in person). I would be pleased to chat with you in French at any time. With the French Club, we are also putting on a film series soon!
I am delighted to be a French FLTA at Sonoma State University and I am looking forward to meeting you all.
